訂書過程中，根據(jù)紙張的厚度和材質(zhì)，鐵絲直徑一般為0.2～0.7mm，訂位為兩釘釘鋸?fù)庥喲劬鄷旧舷赂?/4處，允許誤差在±3.0mm內(nèi)。訂書時要求無壞釘、漏釘及重釘;書冊整齊、干凈;訂腳平整、牢固;訂距均勻并在折縫線上;書帖歪斜誤差≤2.0mm。訂書過程中要經(jīng)常檢查所訂書冊是否符合標準要求，發(fā)現(xiàn)問題后應(yīng)及時停機處理。

打包前應(yīng)檢查成品質(zhì)量，要求全書光潔整齊，無明顯八字皺褶、死折、殘頁、臟跡等現(xiàn)象;頁碼順序正確，以頁碼中心點為準，向里或向外誤差≤0.5mm。收書碼臺上，要將書整理整齊，然后用堆積機打包成書，要求計數(shù)準確后再進行打包、粘貼標簽。
